Our "Mutual Risk/Pregnancy Guarantee Program" is perhaps the best program anywhere for assuring that either you achieve a pregnancy or receive a refund of the vast majority of the money you invested. Please call and talk to Paula or Sandy to find out more.

Above all else, we value each couple as individuals. Personalized care is the hallmark of care at American Health Network reproductive medicine. We believe that the physician and staff, and the couple, are a team. We will strive to exceed your expectations in every regard as we try to help you achieve your goal of parenthood.

Partners in Assisted Reproduction (PAR) is the only program of its type in the country. The program is designed to make access to assisted reproduction available to couples while eliminating the need for disruptive, time-consuming commutes to distant offices. It also gives referring physicians the opportunity to maintain involvement with their patients throughout their treatment cycle. With participating offices South Bend, Richmond, Lafayette, Columbus, Marion, Bloomington, and Bloomington-Normal, Illinois, PAR is providing this opportunity to patients and physicians throughout Indiana and beyond. AHN now offers Intralipid therapy. This therapy is used for the  treatment of recurrent pregnancy loss or repeated implantation failure.

AHN proudly announces the addition of Liz Najjar to our staff. Liz is a Registered Dietician and CD and will be an invaluable resource for providing dietary counseling and guidance to our patients with PCOS, obesity, and those desiring overall health improvement.

Acupuncture is now available at AHN for all patients, including those undergoing IVF.

On the Issue of

Higher Order Multiple Pregnancy (HOMP)

Our goal is the successful and healthy birth of one or two babies as the result of IVF or ovulation induction. We carefully monitor ovulation induction cycle with ultrasound to determine the number of follicles and eggs present. We have clear guidelines as to what constitutes an acceptable number, and above that number we will suggest cancelation rather risk HOMP. The ASRM has established guidelines for the number of embryos to be transferred at the time of IVF and we adhere to these guidelines. Single Embryo Transfer is also an option available. Optimizing pregnancy rates while virtually eliminating triplets and beyond is something we strive hard to do.

Questions

One of our patient couples put together a list of questions they thought everyone considering IVF should understand and be comfortable with. We thought it was a good idea and included the questions for perusal. Look in the "From our patients" section for these questions.
