Recurrent Pregnancy Loss > Testing > TSH, PRL, Glucose

Hormonal probems can cause pregnancy loss. This is a simple cause to evaluate. TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) will reassure that the throid is working normally. Prolactin, the pituitary hormone that controls breast milk production, should also be checked as even mild elevations of prolactin can interfere with adequate progesterone production. Finally, if there is any doubt whatsoever, one should be certain that diabetes is not part of the problem.
