James Schwartz Ph.D., HCLD

Dr. Schwartz has extensive experience both working in and directing IVF laboratories. He has been in the field of Reproductive Physiology for over 20 years and his laboratories have demonstrated very high pregnancy rates. The pregnancy rates have been consistently higher than the national average which reflects his dedication to providing patients the highest standards, technology, and quality for their IVF experience.
Dr. Schwartz is a “hands on” director which means he is involved in performing all of the laboratory procedures. This gives him a unique perspective in staying up to date on new techniques, while maintaining a high level of quality control in the laboratory. Success in the laboratory is perpetuated by having only the best qualified and highest trained staff. Dr. Schwartz enjoys having contact with patients to make sure they are well informed and make the best decisions for their treatment.
While staying current with technologies, Dr. Schwartz is proficient in embryo biopsy and fixation for Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD), blastocyst culture, Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), and embryo cryopreservation. The laboratory has also initiated freezing eggs with vitrification.
